We have decided on a date and an outline for what the next SoulCare for the Planet will entail!
We are working on securing the place and are looking at a few options.
It will take place on November 24th, 2017 aka Black Friday. It will be a cleanup project in the outdoors followed by an educational reception with Local First AZ and their developing Green Team.
We are inviting local businesses, non-profits
and their employees along with any consumers that want to participate.
During the post cleanup reception, we will be delivering education and information about the importance of supply chain, recycling, the treatment of the earth in sourcing product along with knowing who is making the raw materials and how their working conditions are.
An overall effort for an expanded understanding importance of connecting with the people that are involved in this chain as a corporation or non-profit, employee and consumer.
If you're interested in being part of this movement, please reach out. We would love to have companies and non-profits that are already doing this effectively along with those that have not yet considered these things.
The bright green idea is to create a community through Local First AZ that will provide resources to learn more about all of these social and environmental processes and how they affect our planet and people.
Through connecting our small local businesses, non-profits, consumers and supporters, we can all impact each other on a local and global level by creating a better, diverse and cleaner business atmosphere, climate and community.
